Inside the Design of Hilton Garden Inn Évora: Full of Tradition and Nature Elements

The Hilton Garden Inn Évora reflects the Alentejo’s identity. Its design, by Nano Design, pays homage to the region’s essence: simplicity, nature, and tradition. Every space was created around the four natural elements: fire, water, soil, and air. From colors to textures and materials, everything is carefully selected to define the hotel's atmosphere.

Reception with The Soil Element

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by earthy tones and natural finishes. Wooden floors and custom-designed furniture reinterpret Portuguese craftsmanship, bringing the authenticity of local handwork into a contemporary context. This open, warm, and functional space sets the tone for the entire guest experience.

The Fire Element in the Dining Area Colors

The dining area and bar embody the warmth of fire. Wood dominates floors, walls, and furniture, while vibrant color fabrics evoke energy and coziness. The atmosphere is enhanced by details that recall Portuguese artisanal traditions, making the restaurant a place where design and gastronomy meet.

The Air Element with the Rooftop

With privileged views over Évora, the rooftop is one of the hotel’s most distinctive spaces. Like the other areas, neutral tones blend with wooden details, while natural light and lighting design create an airy and tranquil atmosphere. Plants bring nature into the terrace, providing both comfort and privacy, and reinforcing the connection with the Alentejo landscape.

The Water Element at the Pool

By the pool, the water element takes center stage. The surrounding lounge area was designed as a relaxing retreat, where the natural setting and open-air invite guests to slow down and reconnect.

You’ll find Alentejo’s presence across all spaces. From the use of traditional materials to the inclusion of regional tapestries, fabrics, and blankets, the hotel celebrates local heritage while offering a modern hospitality experience to all guests.
