Opened in July 2025, the A-mar-ello Hotel Praia Santo André, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is a four-star hotel located in the municipality of Santiago do Cacém, on the Alentejo coast, between Lagoa de Santo André and the Atlantic Ocean. Part of the renowned Tapestry Collection by Hilton, the hotel stands out for its contemporary architecture, organic design and deep connection to the surrounding natural landscape. This project, promoted by Mercan Properties and managed by AHM – Ace Hospitality Management, represented an investment of 18.2 million euros, contributing not only to strengthening the region's quality tourism offer but also to job creation and local economic growth.

The building has been carefully designed to blend into the landscape of the Santo André and Sancha Lagoons Nature Reserve, respecting the environment and standing out for its use of natural materials, soft lines, and colours that evoke the tones of the sand, sea, and vegetation typical of the area. The design concept emphasises serenity and authenticity, with bright, minimalist interior décor inspired by nature and the maritime culture of the Alentejo.

The A-mar-ello Hotel offers a total of 44 accommodation units, including two suites. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and equipped with air conditioning, flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, minibar, coffee and tea making facilities, safe, and private bathroom with eco-friendly amenities. Some of the rooms offer privileged views of the lagoon or the sea and are pet-friendly upon prior request.

Surrounded by largely unspoiled nature, the A-Mar-ello Hotel Praia Santo André offers its guests the opportunity to explore walking and cycling trails, go bird-watching, enjoy water sports, or enjoy the tranquility of the lagoon and the region's beaches. A few kilometres away are the medieval castle of Santiago do Cacém, the Badoca Safari Park and several coastal towns of great historical and cultural interest.
