At Roast, There Are Sunday Roasts

This is the new offering from the restaurant at Holiday Inn Express Porto-Boavista in the Boavista area of Porto. Based on a long Portuguese tradition, the ‘Sunday Roasts’ arrived.

Starting April 12, the restaurant will offer, every Sunday at lunch, a menu “designed for sharing that varies weekly, based on meats slowly cooked in the Rotisserie, a rotating roasting method in which heat is evenly distributed, ensuring a smoky touch in every recipe.”

Roast, located at Rua 5 de Outubro 606, presents its Sunday concept as “a relaxed lunch with comforting flavors,” featuring a menu that changes weekly, with a highlighted dish announced every Thursday on the restaurant’s social media channels.

Among the specialties, Roast offers “oven-roasted rump cap with roasting juices, pork ribs or flank steak, and pork knuckle,” as well as white meats such as turkey leg and roast chicken.

All meats develop color and tenderness over long hours in the Rotisserie, a rotating roasting method in which heat is evenly distributed, ensuring a smoky touch in every recipe.

The ‘Sunday Roasts’ are available every Sunday at lunch, starting April 12, from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM, at a price of €12 per person, excluding beverages. Reservations can be made online through the Roast website or via email at roastporto@roastporto.pt.
