Fontinha Pizzeria, located in downtown Porto, marks two years of activity with a menu update that reinforces the restaurant’s Italian inspiration and introduces new proposals designed for sharing and exploring fresher flavors. The focus is on traditional starters, fresh pastas, and a new pizza that joins the restaurant’s well-known options.

Signed by chefs Miguel Rocha Vieira and Joana Santos, the space maintains its identity based on Neapolitan-style pizza, with a high, light dough and a slow 48-hour fermentation process, using ingredients of Italian origin. The restaurant is part of Fontinha Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham.

The new menu begins with starters, now offering more variety and a stronger focus on classic flavors. Among the new additions are Panne all’Aglio with mozzarella fior di latte and olive oil (€7), house Focaccia with ricotta montata (€4), and Gnocco Fritto with Sicilian caponata and marinated olives (€4.50), all designed for sharing at the table.

Among the new highlights from the oven is the Pizza Gamberi (€16), which combines shrimp, mozzarella fior di latte, garlic, lemon, and extra virgin olive oil. A proposal that reinforces the fresher side of Fontinha’s cuisine, with inspiration drawn from the sea.

The major highlight of the обновation is the fresh pasta selection, which now takes on a central role in the restaurant’s offering. The menu now includes Cannellone al Ragù and Grana Padano (€15), Rigatoni alla Carbonara (€16), and Ravioli Ricotta e Spinaci (€15), in a selection that combines classic recipes and a vegetarian option.

According to chef Joana Santos, this update results from a balance between continuity and evolution: “we wanted to maintain the authenticity of Italian cuisine while also bringing in new suggestions that make sense within our identity.”

The dessert menu remains largely unchanged, with options such as tiramisù (€6.50), panna cotta with red berries (€6), pistachio cannoli (€6), and chocolate torta caprese (€6.50).

The beverage offering continues to include classic cocktails such as Negroni, Hugo Spritz, Amaretto Sour, and Limoncello Gin Collins, as well as sangrias and non-alcoholic alternatives.

At lunch, from Monday to Friday, Fontinha Pizzeria’s executive menu has also been updated, maintaining the price of €14.50. The offering includes pizza or pasta, dessert, and a drink, with new options such as the Pesto pizza and cannellone al ragù.

Fontinha Pizzeria is open daily from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with reservations available online or directly with the restaurant.
