Fontinha Hotel Celebrates Children’s Day with a Mini Pizzaiolo Experience at Fontinha Pizzeria

This Children’s Day, the kitchen at Fontinha Pizzeria will belong to the little ones. On May 31st, the restaurant at Fontinha Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham, in Porto, will host a special edition of “Little Pizzaiolos in the Fontinha Kitchen”. This creative and family-friendly experience is designed to celebrate children through food, imagination, and hands-on fun.

Taking place one day ahead of the official Children’s Day celebrations in Portugal, the initiative invites young guests to step into the role of mini pizzaiolos for an afternoon filled with flour, creativity, and memorable moments around the table.

Led by Chef Joana Santos, the program encourages children to explore the world of Italian cuisine in a relaxed and playful atmosphere. Throughout the experience, participants will have the opportunity to create their own pizza, prepare a panna cotta dessert, wear a chef’s hat and apron, and receive a personalized Mini Pizzaiolo certificate. The event will also include face painting activities, adding an extra touch of fun to the afternoon.

The initiative reflects the welcoming and community-driven spirit of Fontinha Hotel, while reinforcing Fontinha Pizzeria’s identity as a relaxed and family-oriented pizzeria in Porto, where gastronomy and hospitality come together through shared experiences.

The event will take place on May 31st, between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Participation is free of charge, although spots are limited and subject to reservation.
