The Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel will open a new Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant-bar on its rooftop, expected in February 2027. With views over the city and gastronomic direction by Miguel Rocha Vieira, the space will be open to both hotel guests and external visitors.

On the top floor of the Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel, overlooking the Urban Park and the city of Porto, a new Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant-bar will open. This will be a relaxed space designed for dinner and drinks, revealed the hotel's General Manager Álvaro Aragão.

The new restaurant-bar will occupy the space previously used as the hotel’s gym, located at the top of the building, which today serves as a meeting room. Renovation works are scheduled to begin in November, with the opening planned for February 2027, Álvaro Aragão revealed.

The new restaurant-bar at the Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel will offer approximately 25 indoor seats and 12 outdoor seats. It will be located on the hotel’s 5th floor — the top floor — next to the heated water pool and the “Rooftop Bar,” featuring a terrace and sun loungers with views over the garden, the city, and the Lapa Church.

Members of the Marriott loyalty program with higher-tier status will be able to enjoy breakfast in the new space and relax there during the afternoon. In the evening, the restaurant will be open to everyone, including both hotel guests and external visitors.

The selection of the chef for the future Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant-bar will be under the direction of Miguel Rocha Vieira, Executive Chef of AHM - Ace Hospitality Management.
