Forno da Telha Launches Summer Sunset Sessions at Quinta do Poço Novo in Évora

Following the reopening of its pool to the public, Forno da Telha, the restaurant of Holiday Inn Express Évora, is launching its summer sunset program with an official pool inauguration party scheduled for June 13. The first Sunset Session will feature resident DJ André FmF and a guest artist, in an afternoon organized in partnership with Herdade das Servas and Bica Premium Gin, designed to celebrate long days, music, Alentejo wines, and the relaxed atmosphere of Quinta do Poço Novo.

Throughout June, July, August, and September, the Forno da Telha pool will host a regular sunset program, always from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with DJ André FmF as the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday resident. On special dates, the program will also feature guest artists and partnerships with regional wine producers, reinforcing the restaurant's connection to the land and Alentejo culture.

The program kicks off on June 13 with the official pool inauguration party, in partnership with Herdade das Servas and Bica Premium Gin. Still in June, on the 27th, there will be a Live DJ Sunset in partnership with Paulo Laureano. In July, the program continues on the 4th with Herdade do Sobroso, and on the 18th with PIRR. In August, the Sunset Sessions return on the 1st and 15th, in partnership with Comenda Grande and Herdade do Freixo, respectively. September closes the season with two dates: the 5th, in partnership with Herdade Paço do Conde, and the 19th, featuring DJ André FmF and two special guests, in a session in partnership with Casa Relvas. Sunset Sessions are priced at 10€ per person, with 2 drinks included (a glass of wine, soft drinks, water, or gin).

The pool features its own menu, available at the bar, with light and fresh options for warm days, including small bites, café items, soft drinks, beers, wines, sangrias, and classic cocktails.

More than a music program, the Sunset Sessions reinforce Forno da Telha's summer offering, bringing together the pool, gastronomy, wine, music, and the unhurried rhythm of the Alentejo. In a space where fire, produce, and flavor continue to take center stage, late afternoons by the pool add a new dimension of leisure to the experience of the house.

"The sunsets are a natural way to complement the pool experience and to strengthen Forno da Telha's connection to the territory. We want to create relaxed late afternoons, with great music, Alentejo wines, and an atmosphere that invites people to stay, to share, and to enjoy the space at their own pace," says Álvaro Grilo, director of Forno da Telha.

On Sundays, the Almoço dos Ganhões also continues, a gastronomic experience that has become a hallmark of Forno da Telha, inspired by the meals of the ganhões, the agricultural workers of the Alentejo, and the spirit of sharing around the table. Served at lunch, this ritual brings back traditional comfort flavors, with a starter spread, the traditional Chickpea Stew served in clay pots, typical Alentejo desserts served on shared platters, and drinks included. The experience can be combined with a day at the pool, extending the program between the table, leisure, and the relaxed atmosphere of Quinta do Poço Novo.

The first Forno da Telha Sunset Session takes place on June 13, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Admission is priced at 10€ per person with 2 drinks included.
