During the conversation, he highlighted the key strengths of Panama’s Qualified Investor Program, including the country’s dollarized economy, legal and economic stability, strategic location, and extensive international air connectivity. He also emphasized the importance of cooperation between the public and private sectors in strengthening international confidence and promoting Panama’s opportunities abroad.

Jordi Vilanova also addressed Mercan Properties’ investment of approximately $200 million in Panama, which is expected to generate more than 1,000 direct and indirect jobs across sectors such as construction, engineering, architecture, and hospitality.
