After establishing a presence in more than 45 countries and 157 cities, including Lisbon and Lagos, “Le Petit Chef” has found a new home in Porto through an exclusive partnership with Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel. Starting November 13, on Fridays and Saturdays, the five-star hotel invites guests to follow the adventures of a tiny chef who comes to life through 3D projections directly onto the table.

The experience features four dining options, each consisting of six courses. The standard menu (€99 per person) begins with “The Little Chef’s First Step,” a bread service featuring sourdough bread, olive oil, olives, and butter, followed by “The Enchanted Garden,” featuring beefsteak tomatoes, burrata, basil, and pine nuts. A few minutes later, “The Great Fishing Adventure” arrives at the table, featuring a fish soup made with locally sourced fish, setting the stage for “The Treasure of the Sea,” which combines tiger prawns, scarlet shrimp bisque, and fresh tagliatelle. The meat course, “The Grand Banquet,” features short ribs with cauliflower, glazed carrots, and Madeira wine sauce, leading up to the final course, “The Secret Garden,” a crème brûlée with white chocolate, raspberry, and lime. Guests can also choose a premium menu (€139 per person), which includes additional specialty ingredients such as Oscietra caviar and foie gras. A children's menu (€59) and a vegetarian menu (€89) are also available.

As soon as guests take their seats, Le Petit Chef comes to life through projection mapping technology, transforming the tabletop into a three-dimensional setting where the tiny chef interacts with ingredients and takes center stage in scenes that precede each course. Created by the Belgian artistic collective Skullmapping, the concept emerged from exploring the possibilities of projecting images onto real surfaces, resulting in a unique approach to fun dining that combines a multi-course meal with an interactive and visual experience.

Lasting approximately two hours, the experience takes place at Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel on Fridays at 8:30 PM and Saturdays at 8:00 PM.
